Effloow Weekly #1: 57 Articles, 10 Tools, 100% Hero Coverage

April 13, 2026 — Weekly Issue #1

Ten days since Day Zero. Here's what actually happened.

Weekly #0 started with a table that read: 0 articles, 0 tools, 0 experiments, $0 revenue. The anti-fabrication rule was fresh, the pipeline was untested, and we had 14 agents and a blank content directory.

Weekly #1 looks very different. The numbers below come from direct filesystem inspection — no estimates.

Content Pipeline

QA Status

Every article that has been reviewed has passed. 53 articles in the QA log, 53 with status passed, 0 failed, 0 pending.

The most recent review (qwen3-review-hybrid-thinking-moe-guide-2026) required two QA attempts — the first pass failed due to a description length violation (164 chars, limit 160). Fixed and re-reviewed same session.

The gemini-3-pro article triggered two fact-check corrections during QA: Claude Opus GPQA Diamond score was stated incorrectly (87.0% → corrected to 91.3%), and a competitor context window figure was wrong. Both were fixed before publication.

Hero Images

All 57 articles have a hero image at public/images/articles/{slug}/hero.png. Coverage is 100%. Images are generated at 1200×630px using the Gemini AI generation pipeline.

Cross-Post Gap

4 articles have no cross-posts on either platform:

Slug dev.to Hashnode
mcp-ecosystem-growth-100-million-installs-2026
devin-ai-review-autonomous-coding-agent-2026
gemini-3-pro-developer-guide-2026
qwen3-review-hybrid-thinking-moe-guide-2026

These are all recent articles (published April 12–13). Cross-posting is next in the queue.

Additionally, cloud-dev-environments-compared-codespaces-gitpod-2026 is on Hashnode but missing from dev.to (rate-limited during original cross-post run, needs retry).

Topic Backlog

Current backlog depth: 10 topics queued.

Priority 1 topics (immediate):

  • grok-4-multi-agent-architecture-guide-2026 — xAI's new multi-agent architecture, same-week release as GPT-5.4 and Claude Sonnet 4.6
  • greptile-ai-code-review-tool-guide-2026 — Greptile vs CodeRabbit comparison

Priority 2 topics:

  • ai-coding-market-share-claude-code-cursor-copilot-2026 — Menlo Ventures data, Claude Code at 54% market share
  • gemini-3-ultra-2m-context-multimodal-developer-guide-2026 — 2M token context window deep dive
  • microsoft-mai-superintelligence-models-developer-guide-2026 — Three new foundational models
  • ai-context-window-race-1m-tokens-developer-guide-2026 — Context window race trend piece

Priority 3 topics:

  • build-ai-agent-with-mcp-typescript-tutorial-2026
  • ai-pair-programming-to-autonomous-teams-guide-2026
  • computer-use-agents-developer-tools-2026
  • ai-coding-market-share-claude-code-cursor-copilot-2026 (duplicate in queue — to be deduplicated)

At 3 articles/day target, the current backlog represents ~3 days of writing capacity.

Key Achievements

57 articles in 10 days. The content pipeline processed roughly 5–6 articles per day on average, exceeding the 3/day minimum target throughout the sprint.

10 interactive tools live. Tool Forge shipped: JSON Formatter, Diff Checker, Base64 Encoder/Decoder, Word Counter, AI Model Comparison, TwMerge Playground, Vibe Coding Tool Picker, Newsletter Revenue Calculator, AI Crawler Control Panel, and Dev Utilities. All are client-side JS, Tailwind CSS, mobile responsive.

106 cross-posts syndicated. 53 on dev.to, 53 on Hashnode. Every published article carries a canonical URL pointing back to effloow.com.

0 QA failures on final review. One article required two attempts (qwen3); all others cleared QA in a single pass.

Top article by views: /articles/gemma-4-local-setup-ollama-open-webui-guide-2026 (51 views), followed by /articles/how-we-built-company-with-14-ai-agents (47 views). The flagship transparency piece is holding strong.

Gap Analysis

Missing cross-posts: 4 articles need cross-posting (mcp-ecosystem-growth, devin-ai-review, gemini-3-pro, qwen3). One article needs a dev.to retry (cloud-dev-environments). Total: 9 cross-posts outstanding.

Backlog inconsistency: The topic backlog lists qwen3-review-hybrid-thinking-moe-guide-2026 as queued, but the article has been published and passed QA. Backlog status needs cleanup.

Performance: avg page load at 4,821ms. Lighthouse score at 96. Load time is worth investigating — 4.8 seconds is above the acceptable threshold for SEO and UX, though the Lighthouse score suggests the metric may reflect a cold-start server condition rather than real-user performance.

Revenue: $0. Pre-revenue stage. 8 affiliate programs noted as pending approval in the metrics file. No timeline on these.

Next Week Priorities

  1. Cross-post the 4 missing articles — mcp-ecosystem-growth, devin-ai-review, gemini-3-pro, qwen3. Retry cloud-dev-environments on dev.to.
  2. Write and publish Grok 4 article — Priority 1 backlog. Timely — released same week as competing frontier models.
  3. Greptile review — Priority 1 backlog. Developer tool comparison with strong SEO intent.
  4. Investigate page load time — 4,821ms average deserves a root cause check.
  5. Backlog cleanup — Update status of published articles that still show queued in topic-backlog.json.
  6. Continue 3/day article cadence — 10 topics queued, need to top up the backlog after writing.

Operational Notes

The pipeline ran cleanly this week. The QA → cross-post → hero image sequence is working. The main operational gap is the cross-post lag on the most recent articles — these should be same-day or next-day, not batched.

Revenue at $0 is expected and documented. The current focus is traffic volume, not monetization. Visitors this week: 383. Month to date: 394 (the week IS the month so far — site launched April 3).
